I love making wearable things for my boys as they always are so excited I made something just for them. ^_^ I'm branching out and hope to make bags and eventually whole quilts for family and for the local shelters - I'd love to make a bag or quilt for battered women and/or their children -- I just want to be "good enough" at it first, you know?
ReplyDeleteI love mking things for my children and grandchildren and for baby shower and wedding gifts. Anything from baby items to wedding dresses!

I like to make quilts & give them as gifts especially baby quilts.
ReplyDeleteAlso I have been doing projects with Crafthope...helping many
people & also learning new techniques....bean bags to African
orphans, scarves for foster children, quilts for tornado survivors.
It's been fun plus also rewarding!
I have been sewing a lot of dresses and rompers for gifts lately. I decided to use my time making something with the fabric I already have rather than go out and buy something. So far they've all been very appreciative!
ReplyDeleteI love making clothes for my nephew!
ReplyDeleteI love making stuff for my boys, specially plushies!
ReplyDeleteI mostly make clothes for my girls, but I also love, love, love to make baby things for new babies. And you can check out what my daughter has started to make for someone else if you like. http://wisecricket.blogspot.com/2011/05/blues-quilt.html
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win your charm squares. I have been cutting into 2 inch squares for a postage stamp quilt, but maybe 4 inch would be better. Then I could add in prepackaged charm squares of my favorite lines.
I love to make quilts for newborn babies and their families. Thanks for the great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI like to make scrappy quilts for the Red Cross to give to families that are dealing with a crisis...lose of home due to floods, fires, etc. Most are for children. I have one daughter and one granddaughter...so only so many quilts needed there!! I also like to make quilts for the Wounded Warriors.
ReplyDeleteBags were always my go-to gift to make, because who can't use a good bag? But I'm transitioning over to quilts now, because I think my gift recipients might have a few too many bags now!
ReplyDeleteI'm just starting to sew, so I don't have a "thing" yet. All I've made for someone else is an apron and a bag, both fun!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful giveaway! I love making baby quilts for expectant mothers at our local maternity home. I'd love to win! :) sleepachu at hotmail dot com
ReplyDeleteI like to make cozy sweatshirt jackets for elderly people in my community. The jackets are a big hit!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway! I usually make quilts for other people (especially those in the PICU), It really makes me feel good to know that those people have something that can comfort then in a difficult time.
