Oh Boy!!! OH BOY!!! It's that time again! And this year we are super excited to not only be hunting for giveaway treasures in the Sew, Mama, Sew Giveaway Day, but to be hosting as well!
I have recently become addicted to Charm Squares and am trying to develop the habit of automatically grooming all of my scraps from my sewing projects into these delightful 4 inch blocks.
Charm Squares are perfect for a variety of projects...especially when the work of cutting is already done for you! You can use them for quilts, clothing, bags, you name it!
As you can see, my collection is growing rapidly!
So much so, I'm going to giveaway 100 different squares!
That's right 100 Charm Squares!!!
PLUS...yes, more fun! I love using personalized labels in my sewing, so I'm going to share some of the great labels I've acquired with you too!
Aren't they cute???
Now, to get entered.

«Oldest ‹Older 201 – 251 of 251 Newer› Newest»I like making quilts for others the best, but since that takes a while, I also like making other people bags. :) Thanks for the giveaway!
i most like making quilted goods for others...just finished 2 quilts for charity and made my nephew a darling (if i do say so myself) quilted pillow of 2.5 inch sqaures!

I've been sewing bags as gifts. So easy and who doesn't love a great bag?

I love making clothes for my kids! I think they like it too!
I enjoy making wallets and bags for people. I just made my first quilt and gifted it, so I may have found my new favorite thing to make for others. :)
Mostly I've made small things, like bags or table runners for other people, but I have very nearly finished my first bed sized quilt for someone else and have plans for a large throw for my best friend for Christmas. I've already started collecting the fabrics and chosen the pattern.
I like to crochet afghans/lapghans for people who are ill. I've made a couple for kids who have cancer and my knitting friend and I just started to make lapghans for the VA. (She is a Gulf War Veteran.) I always feel so helpless. I just hope that everyone who has received one knows that I’m praying for them.
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to win this generous giveaway.

I'm in that stage of life where myself and all my friends keep having babies... babies and babies and babies... Luckily most of them are girls. I sew girl's clothing for my friends kids and I love bringing a huge bag full of handmade burp cloths, nursing cover, diaper clutch, stroller blanket, etc to baby showers and as gifts for new moms (along with a hot dinner and a promise to hold the baby if they need a nap or hot shower!)

I made a baby quilt for my godson and a dog collar and leash set for my mom's dog. (that's two of the only 5 projects I've completed total so far since I got my sewing machine this spring) I'm brand new to sewing and loving it so much and I have lots of plans to make many more gifts in the future!
Thanks for the generous giveaway!

I like to make wallets, clutches, bag and purses for others. I would like to get more into quilting but that would require me to actually finish one! haha
I sew quilts - some go to children's organizations, some to vetran's organizations.
I like to make things for my family. I am currently making quilts for my children and niece and nephews out of their grandma's old clothes (she passed away recently, and these serve as a reminder of her). Thanks for the chance to win an awesome and fun prize!

Thanks for the giveaway! I really enjoy making gifts based on what the person likes to do. A journal cover for someone who draws, a pincushion for someone who embroiders, etc. And of course blankets for babies :)
I love making quilts for other people, especially babies and kids!
I love making baby quilts, as of last year. I taught myself to sew them and I love the look on the mom-to-be's face when she sees the handmade (okay, machine but I do all the work!) quilt!
Since I'm a slow sewer these charm squares would be going toward getting started on Christmas gifts. 4mrsgaskell{AT}gmail{DOT}com
I like to make things i think the person will like, so it depends on the giftee and the reason for the gift, but I do like zippy pouches cause they are fun and easy :) Thanks for the chance!

I tend to make quilts for others. in fact, my aunt gives me a "heads up" before a baby shower invitation so I can get it done in time!
I love to make skirts!
I have never really used charms. I am making baby stuff right now (like my shoes in my giveaway). there are lots of babies in my life right now.
When my daughter was in the PICU (and we were stationed in the Ronald McDonald House) for her 5 month stay, we received a number of quilts for her (and her twin) from project linus. 4 years after her death, these quilts mean the world to me. I used them to provide a little color to her crib in the hospital, to decorate it- so to speak. The nurses loved them, and I had just the right amount so that I could change them out. One day- I want to be good enough and confident enough to quilt for those Mamas and little babies.
thanks for the chance.

I really like making things that are not only pretty, but functional for people- placemats, coasters, broaches, scarves. Anything that can be used for functional reasons or for decoration. Thanks for the great giveaway!
I make dresses for my girls every birthday. They tell me how they want it, and I make it up. I love making and giving cozy baby blankets. I love giving beautiful quilts to make people smile. I love feeding people.
i love making clothing for a children's charity - it gives me a good excuse to make cute kids clothes, even though i don't have kids of my own!
i've started quilting again in the past year, and i really love giving baby quilts. i try to make them fun and funky, but of a quality that the child will still have it when they're grown.
thanks so for the chance to win! the charms look like they'd be perfect for I-Spy quilts!
I like to sew clothes for my kids but my whole heart goes into costuming. Almost makes me wish that there were more holidays that involved costumes.
The charms are fun. Bags or aprons have been my go to gift.
This past year I've been making shawls and lapquilts as part of the prayer shawls ministry. I also completed several I-spy quilts for children (one who lost their parent and the other who is experiencing their parents divorcing). I think I get more out of it than the recipient :)It took a while to gain confidence and I was scared that it's not perfect. It's the whole ego thing I have learned(and am still learning) to drop and keep in check :)
