Aren't they cute???

I make a lot of bags. Fabric wrist cuffs and fabric bookmarks. Some jewelry. Scarves. I like to try new things, so each holiday I tend to pick a new project or two to work on as gifts.

My favorite thing to do... and has been for the last 9 years.... is making quilts for Wounded Warriors... It is a wonderful organization and brightens up their room and shows just a little bit of my overwhelming appreciation for all they do! Thanks so much for a chance to win!

Based on what I've made the most of for others, I'd say swaddling blankets for babies. :) I also feel a compulsion to make sure everyone has at least one good apron. Aprons are an essential in my book. Thank you for such a lovely giveaway! I'm so impressed that you're making a habit of cutting your scraps into 4" squares!

I'm new to this whole blogging thing so this giveaway event has been a great opportunity for me to find great sites like this. And what a wonderful collection you're offering. (My eyes more than lingered over that sewing print.) I've made scarves for the ladies in my family and baby blankets for coworkers. Lately I've been making seasonal quilted placemats and and giving them to family. Those have given me a lot of joy. I look forward to your updates. Many thanks!!

I love to sew quilts for others. I have yet to keep one for myself. I can't help it, I'm a giving soul. Thanks for the giveaway!

Hi. Thanx for your comment at my giveaway!
Your giveaway is fantastic, I hope I win. Since I'm into bag making I love it when I can make an individual bag. When someone asks me to do the bag unpon their wishes.

My favorite thing to create for others is APRONS!
I am a huge apron geek, and so I am slowly converting everyone I know ( men and women) into them too. You see, I have this master plan where I convince everyone to start wearing aprons, then pretty hats, then...everyone shall start dressing like it's the 1940's again and I will be a happy little creampuff.

Thanks for the chance to win!!!!! those tags are darling and I love the idea of no cutting and patchwork!

I love making gifts for people and try to do something handmade for most holidays and birthdays. This year I've been making messenger bags for birthdays and I think I will do mug rugs and pillowcases for Christmas. :)

I love making wearable things for my boys as they always are so excited I made something just for them. ^_^ I'm branching out and hope to make bags and eventually whole quilts for family and for the local shelters - I'd love to make a bag or quilt for battered women and/or their children -- I just want to be "good enough" at it first, you know?

I like to make quilts & give them as gifts especially baby quilts.
Also I have been doing projects with Crafthope...helping many
people & also learning new techniques....bean bags to African
orphans, scarves for foster children, quilts for tornado survivors.
It's been fun plus also rewarding!

I have been sewing a lot of dresses and rompers for gifts lately. I decided to use my time making something with the fabric I already have rather than go out and buy something. So far they've all been very appreciative!

I mostly make clothes for my girls, but I also love, love, love to make baby things for new babies. And you can check out what my daughter has started to make for someone else if you like. http://wisecricket.blogspot.com/2011/05/blues-quilt.html

Thanks for the chance to win your charm squares. I have been cutting into 2 inch squares for a postage stamp quilt, but maybe 4 inch would be better. Then I could add in prepackaged charm squares of my favorite lines.

Bags were always my go-to gift to make, because who can't use a good bag? But I'm transitioning over to quilts now, because I think my gift recipients might have a few too many bags now!

I'm just starting to sew, so I don't have a "thing" yet. All I've made for someone else is an apron and a bag, both fun!

What a great giveaway! I usually make quilts for other people (especially those in the PICU), It really makes me feel good to know that those people have something that can comfort then in a difficult time.

guess what I have done most for others is quilted journal covers with the journal inside. Great gift for new home, hospital visit and more. Also bags. Some designed for walkers but convertible to shoulder.
