Simple "Wish List" Tutorial

Well, I've seen all these sweet personalized "Wish Lists" on Pinterest and such, but...with 5 kiddos I didn't want our only Christmas deco to be wish lists and magazine cut outs you know!? ;) So, I came up with a more universal "family" version. Super simple to make, so I thought I'd share in case anyone else was interested in a more simplified version of this fun decoration.

Here's what you'll need:
*WISH Ornament or Plaque
*Assortment of Ribbon
*Holiday Embellishments (optional)
*Paper Clips
*Glue & Felt Scraps
*Wish List Print-out FREE at allsorts (she offers LOADS of adorable ideas & freebies!)

Select the "Wish" and Ribbons of your choice. If you decide to use layered ribbons, stitch the more narrow ribbon on top of the other as pictured.

Attach the ribbon to the back of your plaque with hot glue. Include an additional ribbon loop for hanger and cover both with a scrap of felt.

Include a ribbon for each child or one long ribbon for everyone to use. Embellish with buttons, sequins or jingle bells as you wish. The possibilities are as many as you can imagine!

Tie additional ribbon in knots on paperclips for fasteners to hold the wish lists and magazine cut-outs to your new Wish List decoration.

Turn the children lose with their handy wish list print-out and all those toy catalogs that have flooded the mailbox and prepare for a fun way to display all those sweet Christmas wishes. :)

Love this idea. How do you have time to create all the awesome things that you make?

Those are a great idea. I have seen bow holders like that, but it never dawned on me to use it for this. The little ribbon paper clips are my fav part! Simple but very creative!
