Pattern Review - Scruffy the Dog by My Funny Buddy

I'm so excited to share my first stuffed toys finished for April's Project, a litter of Scruffy dogs made using the My Funny Buddy pattern.

This was my first time sewing with a My Funny Buddy pattern, and I simply can't say enough good about it! The pattern was very well written, including thorough step-by-step photos, paying attention to every little detail. This made my sewing experience easier and more enjoyable!

I used a solid fleece for the face which adds a more "furry" appeal to the little guys.

All the fun, coordinating prints are from Ann Kelle's REMIX Collection for Robert Kaufman. Love these playfully versatile prints, they add such character!

Some of my favorite features of this pattern include the felt and stitched faces making them extra cuddly and safe for all ages.

Additionally, the tail provides a loop perfect for attaching a "leash" so your soft friend stays close to your child in the stroller or carseat.

These little pups are destined to be LOVED!

Oh my goodness! Those are just the sweetest. That is my favorite pattern of hers. I was considering ordering it since she has been so generous with the discount. I wonder if there is such a thing as too many dogs, LOL. We are all going to want to make dogs after seeing these cuties.

Adorable puppies!

What a versatile pattern, too. It could easily become a kitty (just make triangle ears and change the face a bit).
