It's been an exciting and busy week around here and I nearly forgot to remind us all that we're at the mid-month point! ALREADY!!!!

That's right....if you are sewing along to support our October Project to make hats for hospital patients....there's still time, but only a couple more weeks.

Mid-Month Reminder! September 2013 Create H.O.P.E. Designs Sew Along

We've hit the HALF-WAY mark for our September Project and Create H.O.P.E. Designs Sew Along!

We've had some great participation so far with lots of beautifully sewn items added to our September Project Album, many of which are being donated to various organizations and needs! Love it!!!

There is still plenty of time to join us and lots of inspiration between the lovely pattern collection in the Create H.O.P.E. Designs shop AND all the amazing items that have been sponsored for giveaway at the end of the month for some of those lucky folks that do sew along! :)

Time for our Mid-Month Reminder!

There's still plenty of time to jump in and sew along for our August Project, and we sure hope you do! We are making Pencil Pouches along with our friends at Sew For Kids to help the children of the Pine Ridge Reservation be ready for back-to-school!

Mid-Month Reminder....Busy Hands Fidget Apron Progress!

Yep, it's ALREADY middle of the month!

How's your Busy Hands Fidget Apron sewing going??? I've been having a great time with each uniquely designed apron I've made so far. Adding the buttons and baubles is so much fun!

Here are a few of the ones I've been working on....

 Apron #1 for a male patient.

Apron #2 for a female patient.

 Apron #3 for a female patient.

  Remember, thanks to Fishsticks Designs, you can download the FREE pattern here to sew your own for donation! We are a long way from our goal of donating 100 aprons this month, so your participation would be greatly appreciated. :) See some of the aprons that have been sewn for donation in our flickr album here, and please add any that you create for the project as well!

Mid-Month REMINDER + GIVEAWAY!

Whew! Not sure why specifically, a whole bunch of little things I suppose, but March has absolutely FLOWN BY! Can you believe it's time for our Mid-Month Reminder already????

Contemporary Cloth was looking for a special way to support our project this month and sent a box of Insul-Fleece to use for the Hot Pads & Oven Mitts. I've put a little bundle of fabrics together with it, including this panel fabric that will make quick and easy hot pads and wanted to share.

It's that time again!!!!!

Are you sewing with us this month or are planning to??? 

First, THANK YOU!!!!! Every Stitch Matters and every bib donated to a child or adult this month will be a special gift to someone!

Just remember.....we're half way through this month's project! 

When you are ready to ship, just email me and let me know whether you have Adult Bibs going to Anita in LA or Child Bibs going to Bonnie in FL or BOTH, and I'll get the address(es) right over to you! :)
