November - Monthly Project Announcement!

This is going to be a very fun sewing month! My hope is that it can serve at least 2 purposes, that of supporting the outreach of Create H.O.P.E. Designs AND helping you finish some handmade Christmas gifts for your list. What do you think? Are you up for it?

 Here's how it will work...
I will introduce a different Create H.O.P.E. Designs pattern each week this month, and share my sewing experience and results using that pattern throughout the week. I invite you to sew along as often as you'd like!
Each time you do, you can be entered in our Monthly Project Giveaway! That's right, I'm going to include prizes to make it even more fun! And you don't even have to sew the exact pattern I am, ANY Create H.O.P.E. Designs pattern that you use qualifies you to enter. Here's all you need to do...
  •  Check out the Create H.O.P.E. Designs pattern shop
  • Purchase & Sew your favorite $5 patterns
  • Write a public blog post sharing pictures of your completed project (if you don't have a blog, it's free & easy to start one, and what better first post than this!?!)
  • Add your link(s) here for everyone to check out.
Use your name & the name of the pattern you have sewn in your link.
ex. Kristy - 30 Minute Shorts
This way I will be able to easily announce the winners at the end of the month, plus, I will link to each entry on the Hopeful Threads facebook page, so I'll be able to give you a personal "shout out" and a little extra exposure for your blogs!
**Every CHD pattern you sew and write a separate post about can be linked here as another entry!** There are currently 12 patterns available! :)
Create Hope Designs

What do you have the chance of winning???
Two of you will win these lovely bundles of 5 Izzy & Ivy Patterns AND 5 Fat Quarters of designer fabrics!

The patterns include:

PLUS, a bundle of 5 Fat Quarters of the playful Bon Voyage fabric collection!

So come on! Help spread the word of the outreach of Create H.O.P.E. Designs, mark a few gifts off your list AND have a chance at some lovely prize bundles!
Giveaway open to US & Canadian residents, however, the $5 patterns are a steal of a deal no matter where you are, so really a prize in themselves! (**NOTE** Thanks to the idea of one of our international readers, if you are outside of the countries listed above and want to enter with the understanding that you would be responsible for postage, you are most welcome!!!) Winners will be selected from entries linked up as described above and announced here Wednesday, November 30th.

The first pattern I will be sewing is my own contribution to Create H.O.P.E. Designs, which was specially created for my daughter, the A+ Art Portfolio.
I will actually be giving the one I make away over on the Create H.O.P.E. Designs website if you're interested! ;) If you're not following them yet, you've been missing out!

SEEEEWWWW....Let's have some fun sewing together this month! :)

Fabulous idea, Kristy! Could I enter the giveaway, if I paid the postage (to Australia), in the event that I won?

Absolutely Pam! I just emailed you, would be happy to work this out with you if you are one of the winners! Thanks for the idea!

I was wondering if you could tell us ahead of time which patterns you will be using for all of the sew alongs. That way I could order them all at once and only pay the s & H once. Thank you

All of the patterns at Create H.O.P.E. Designs are PDFs, so there is no shipping and handling, nor will you have to wait for them to arrive. Great huh?! :)

Also, you can sew any of the Create H.O.P.E. Designs patterns to participate, so you can pick your favorites, doesn't have to be the ones I'm sewing.

Does it have to be for Christmas? I was thinking of sewing up the layette for a friend of mine for a baby shower at the end of this month. I need to go over my list of naughty/nice people to see if I can sew some gifts for them!

Absolutely not! Anything you sew using one of the Create H.O.P.E. patterns qualifies....even if you are keeping it for yourself! I was just trying to help folks consider how they could "kill 2 birds with 1 stone" so to say. :)

Thanks! :)

I added my link! I just wanted to tell you not to add my name to the drawing since I won one of your giveaways recently. :)
